It’s our pleasure to announce Alyssa Mochen as Loaded Bell’s athlete of the month for May 2018! She came to us through our New You Program which is designed to introduce new athletes to the world of CrossFit. From the beginning we knew she was the type of athlete you want in your gym. She always tried her best! That attitude with consistency in doing the work yields results. She’s made tremendous progress in the time she’s been with us and always a pleasure to have in class. When did you become a member at Loaded Bell CrossFit? January 2017
What do you do when you are not at Loaded Bell CrossFit? (occupation, hobbies, etc.) I love to sew and craft. I am also a SAHM……that keeps me busy!!
How did you find out about CrossFit? Facebook….the New You program.
When did you realize CrossFit is right for you? The second class of my New You Training….I was a little overwhelmed with the first class!
What is your favorite WOD/movement? At the moment, rowing. I see improvement there!
What is your least favorite WOD/movement? ……….burpees…….always burpees.
What is one thing you have done at Loaded Bell CrossFit that you never thought you would do? Compete in the Open!
What motivates you during a CrossFit WOD? The other athletes! I like being challenged and pushed by the athletes and our coaches.
What is something about yourself that we might not know? Gladiator is my favorite movie.
What advice would you give to someone just getting started with CrossFit? Stick with it, the results will come! And, set realistic expectations.
