Loaded Bell is proud to announce Ethan as our athlete of the month for February.  It’s the first time one of CrossFit Kids members has earned the honor.  The key word there is earned.  Ethan works hard every session and does it with a smile on his face.  He’s always the first one in and last one out.  Always willing to try something new even if it isn’t easy.  He’s a fantastic athlete with a great attitude.  We’re lucky to have Ethan as part of the Loaded Bell family!  Congratulations!

Where did you grow up?

Rio Rancho, NM

When did you become a member at Loaded Bell CrossFit?

As soon as the Crossfit Kids program started!!

What do you do when you are not at Loaded Bell CrossFit? (occupation, hobbies, etc.)

I’m currently working towards by elementary school diploma as a 3rd grader at Maggie Cordova Elementary.  I like to read, play soccer and basketball!

How did you find out about CrossFit?

My Dad told me about, and I wanted to try it out.

When did you realize CrossFit is right for you?

After I started going to Crossfit Kids, I really started to like it and wanted to go as often as I could.

What is your favorite WOD/movement?

I really like deadlifts, rowing and sled pushes are my favorite!

What is your least favorite WOD/movement?

Wall walks for sure!

What is one thing you have done at Loaded Bell CrossFit that you never thought you would do?

Handstand against the wall and climbing the rope all the way to the top

What motivates you during a CrossFit WOD?

Sometimes the music that Coach Glenn plays, and trying to keep up with Oliver!

What is something about yourself that we might not know?

I really like reading and math

What advice would you give to someone just getting started with CrossFit?

It’s fun – depending on what workout you are doing!
